The balance of the sprint route will be on two lane roads, with deputies and volunteers stationed at all critical intersections. The international distance route includes the Starkey Park Bike Path, which will be patrolled by volunteers watching for drafting violations. Key areas include the Anclote River Crossing which will be well marked and no-passing / no drafting rules will be strictly enforced.

The run starts out along the Starkey Blvd, with turnarounds for the sprint and international distances manned with volunteers. The route will go into the Longleaf neighborhood on Marsha Drive and loop through the neighborhood to the Town Hall and the finish line.
