The Longleaf Triathlon is one of the Tampa Bay Area’s premier multi-sports events offering a swim in a pristine, freshwater lake; scenic bike tour through Starkey Wilderness Park’s nature bike trail and a fast-paced ride down SR 54; and run through the quaint town of Longleaf. This event is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Seven Springs and competitors will find exceptional race management and friendly volunteers along the race course.

Congratulations to the 2011 Bike Winner: Ron Rodriguez!

Win this Felt’s B16 Bike

Value: $2,200

All participants in the Longleaf Triathlon who complete a Tourism Survey and Bike Entry Form and turn it in at packet pick-up, will be registered for this outrageous bike valued at $2,200 courtesy of Chainwheel Drive. This full-carbon tri bike will satisfy your desire for maximum velocity with its ultra-narrow frame that virtually vanishes when viewed head-on. Internal cable routing, a chainstay-mounted brake, an aero seatpost, horizontal rear dropouts and cutouts for both wheels barely disturb the air flowing around the bike. Plus, it’s decked out with Felt’s aero carbon fork, their slick TTR-4 wheels, a precision-shifting Shimano 105 20-speed drivetrain, and a lightweight aluminum base bar with aero extensions.
